We bring the rain !!

If your looking for rain, just wait for us to arrive. We got to our mates Robert & Geoff yesterday down Narbonne way in France. The day before they had been at the beach at about 22deg. We arrive and its raining. Today we have done the 6 hour drive to Valencia, and yesterday it was hot and sunny, today its very wet. So get your umbrellas out down in Mazarron, we are coming !

I have to say dads' choice of car gets better, it is so comfortable, I can sleep and rest like a dream (and have them !). It's so quiet and seems to glide along the autostradas, and they get out and can stand a walk without groaning about how stiff their joints are.

Our stay with our friends, was great. They made us so welcome, and great food. I had my own dish of cheese chunks, and then quite a few chunks of home made garlic bread and some bites of chorizo sausage, just what the dog ordered. They seemed to get well lubricated on wine from the local wine maker. (I just happen to have got a walk and passed his winery, and they happened to end up with two 10lt box's of wine to  put in the back of the car). So a very nice evening.

Bit of a shock, when I found we had lost 1 hour of snooze, we all had to try and look fresh to set off for our next leg of the journey.

Lunch was to be a quick snack at a motorway service. When we got there the first problem was I was only allowed to walk in a small area, cus dad had spotted the dreaded caterpillars in the tree of the car park (not very good for a customer business ). Then they found the place was full of 3 coach loads of children, all having their lunch and clogging up the whole area. THEN when they got to the till and turned round, the place was empty apart from about 4 people, oh well.

Now we are in our nice BIG hotel room, at the hotel in Valencia. the receptionist has been really nice. Given dad complimentary pints of beer, a free wifi pass, and I got a big bowl of water in the bar.

So cannot wait until tomorrow when we will be back at our Spanish home, and all my mates. So I am going to have an early night and be in form for seeing my mates in Isla Plana.

Night Night.
Leopold
